The entire valley was the precinct of Ebisu Ishiya Temple. It is said that the central place is where Ryosenji Temple, Jisso-in Temple, Rokusho Shrine and temple are lined. In Ryosenji Temple, there is a oni mask, which was created in the Edo period by a local Buddhist teacher Kokkou Itai, modeled on the face of oni made during the Warring States period.
